About Project

Letter Frequency is a conceptual design project that explores the relative frequency of letters in the English language, based on principles from cryptographical mathematics. approach: Each letter is scaled according to how frequently it appears in English text — commonly used letters are rendered larger, while less frequent ones appear smaller. This approach allows linguistic data to be understood visually, using typography itself as the means of communication rather than numerical representation. The resulting posters are a structured study and experimentation of spatial logic and composition, drawing attention to the inherent physical qualities of language through the lens of mathematical distribution.
